JUSTIN CARVER GARNERS PARTS PLUS USCS NATIONAL "ROOKIE OF THE YEAR"
HONORS WITH OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE

Atlanta, GA - Eighteen year-old rookie sensation, Justin Carver from Drummonds, Tennessee has captured the Parts Plus United Sprint Car Series National “Rookie of the Year” Championship for the 2009 season. Carver is one of the most accomplished rookie drivers to ever race in the Parts Plus USCS. Carver used a number of outstanding performances throughout the season on dirt and paved surfaces including a feature win to propel him to the coveted Parts Plus USCS National “Rookie of the Year” title.

In addition to scoring his first feature win during his rookie season, Carver was competitive in each of the Parts Plus USCS divisions. He finished in the runner-up spot in the National title chase. He had 13 top five and 26 top ten finishes in 38 starts in the National title contest. He also finished in the runner-up position twice and in third place three times. Carver garnered his first winged sprint car feature win in the Parts Plus USCS at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama on August 7th.

In the highly competitive Parts Plus USCS Mid-South Thunder regional series Carver finished in the runner-up spot in the point standings and was only thirty-seven points from winning that regional series title. Carver also did well enough while traveling away from his region participating in the Parts Plus USCS Southern Thunder Tour regional series to also finish in the runner-up position in that series. He was just seventy-one points back in that division.

He had three top ten and one top five finishes in the Parts Plus USCS Asphalt Thunder Tour mini-series and finished in fourth place in the standings in that series.
